The First SPARK Grant Award Recipient

PERF® is proud to recognize Caren Armstrong, MD, PhD as the first recipient of the 2025 SPARK Grant.

Dr. Armstrong is an assistant professor in the Department of Neurology, Division of Pediatric Neurology & Epilepsy at the University of California, Davis.

The SPARK grant funding provides support to bridge the gap between her initial CNCDP-K12 application and resubmission of her research entitled, Clinical Utility of Low-Frequency Stimulation in Identifying the Seizure Onset Zone During Intracranial EEG in Pediatric Epilepsy Patients.
