Honoring New SPARK Grant Award Recipients

PERF^® congratulates Megan Abbott, MD and Aynara Chavez Wulsin, MD, PhD as recipients of the SPARK Grant Award.

Dr. Abbott is pediatric epileptologist and assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Section of Neurology at Children’s Hospital Colorado.

The SPARK Grant funding provides support to bridge the gap between her initial K-application and resubmission of her research entitled, Validation of a Clinician-Reported Measure of Disease Severity in DEEs. 

 

 

Dr. Wulsin is a child neurologist and physician-scientist with an appointment as an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
